Recently I have, sadly, been questioning my faith. College has changed me in so many ways. I question everything about life and why I am here. And the news that I recieved this morning didn't help me at all

Allison- first of all, I'm so sorry.

Second, you have to remember that God has a plan for everything. I know that right now it doesn't seem fair, but you don't know the plans God has for your life, or for the lives of all those people who loved Steven. God loves you and He also loves Steven. The last thing God wants is for you to turn away from Him. Don't let the Enemy win you over because of something you don't understand. God wants to confort you and give you peace about this whole situation. If you or me had control of the whole world, man, we would screw it up, but God's rule is sovereign and completely right. He's got everything under control. I know this is hard to hear right now, but don't push away the one person who loves you more than anyone on this earth ever could. Don't forget what Christ went through to save you because He loved you so much. Let Christ comfort you. AND IF YOU NEED ANYTHING- who ya gonna call? No, not the Ghost Busters.. :) ME! I'm so very sorry about your nephew. I understand how such a close and tragic death can change your view on christ. Mine changed the day "god" took my Mother from me. To me, it just shows there is no God. No "real" god would let a child die in a horrible way. I don't want to influence you in any way...but, I'm not going to tell you that Jesus/God loves you and shit and that he loves us all...if that were the case...why would he let people die in the ways they do? Don't rush into a belief...but, don't just stick by a philosophy simply because you're scared. I truly am very sorry about him. its a horrible thing when someone dies...but, even more horrible when it is a child. i'm, so sorry.
