Thanks a lot.

I can't think of anything that's the size, but I'm sure I have bigger hands than you so imagine making a circle with my index finger and my thumb. On me, that's how big is was. Like an inch and a half long I guess.

we always called them japanese beetles, the technical term, of course. for the longest ime i thought they were june bugs because they only came out in the summer. they are indeed the dumbest beetles i've ever seen. whenever you heard a nice thud near the backyard, it was them, running into the shed at full force, over, and over again.
