Done for the semester!

Finally done!  After two and a half weeks of finals, I'm finally done!  (redundant...)

I did alright in my classes, not as great as I had hoped but for my hardest semester ever, I'm pretty happy.

One cool thing I learned how to do in school was cast wax patterns in gold/silver, which means, I can make jewelery now!  I made a ring that looks like the

What makes this entry perfect is not that you are done (which is good), not that you made a replica of The Ring, (which is awesome, but dorky), but that you did it all while listening to Enormous Penis.

that's sweet you guys do your own investing and casting! they used to let us do it, but apparently there was a string of problems with stuff blowing up, etc, so now we just send it all to the lab. which is kind of more practical anyway, but i'm hella-jealous you get to cast stuff like rings. ps congrats on surviving!

if you wanna stop by A2 sometime over break I can show you how to do it. It's not too hard to do, it'll just take some time :) I know now, they're letting students do all their own crowns 'n stuff to help save money for patients since most of them can't afford one if it's done through the lab.. I just wish I was better at waxing to be able to do that... Don't let the boards kill you! :)
