Oh I know they do. And as long as they keep who they have so far making the movie then it hopefully should be okay. But you know even with the awesome movies they have had so far this year, the majority of comic-movies are crap so people are a little wary. Have you seen Stardust? Also did you see Dark KNight and what did you think of it?
Yes, I did see Dark Knight, Heath Ledger did a much better job as the joker than I expected him to. I also like the way they pulled away from the sensationalized hero.
No, I haven't seen Stardust.
Speaking of Crap Comic Book movies.. Ghost Rider, both Fantastic 4 movies, The third X men and Spider-Man movies..
Did you hear that Sam Rami is talking about ED4? But Bruce already said he wouldn't play Ash anymore..
Ledger's Joker was a complete psychopath. It was perfect! If/when they do a third the bar is raised very high for that one!
See Stardust! It is in my opinion, this generations Princess Bride. It's funny, sweet, adventurous. just all around great. And it's based on a Neil Gaiman comic book and my brother-in-law says it is a perfect adaptaion.
For me the ones you listed weren't as bad as these: Daredevil, Elektra, the first Punisher, Catwoman, the 4th Superman, and Batman & Robin (as Kevin Smith in one of his movies put it SO perfectly "One 90 minute gay joke.").
I think I heard about that. Once you've played yourself in a movie you wrote and directed where all the characters think you are Ash well then playing again would be quite redundant. Besides he's freaking awesome on Burn Notice.
You see any other movies this summer that you've loved/hated?
