well, high standards arent bad, it will just make sure that you dont end up with some bad guy. but if you decided to lower them too much, bad things happen. not good. so i think that lowering them is a bad idea. just so you know. :D

although, searching for the "perfect" guy is fruitless. to make it work, you both have to change for each other, not just one, or the other, both. thats how relationships work. otherwise, hurting happens. not saying that you should be looking now, cause thats silly, but, for future reference. thats my advice on it.
(i so didnt mean to start a small rant when i began to comment... i promise...)
