So I had quite the adventure today. I needed to go Mother's Day shopping at the mall (because yesterday my mum took me there and showed me exactly what she wanted... so yeah, not much of a surprise as to what she's getting), and I was going to have Andrew take me but he'd already done his shopping so I figured hey, I have a license, there's a car

That must have been scary!! But at least you didn't get pulled over. =)

Oh, I was so scared. I kept looking in my rear-view mirror all paranoid-like... and then I was worried that they were going to follow me to the mall and corner me in the parking lot.

(Then again, I think I have some sort of fear of being pulled over, because sometimes I'll have dreams about trying to evade cops while I'm driving.)

I'm sure it was nothing. I freak out about those types of things, too, but most of the time there's nothing to worry about. Usually, if the light IS red, your brain notices it MUCh faster than if it's green and you have no need to acknowledge it. So it was most likely green.

And at least there were no cops. ;)

The thing was, I didn't really acknowledge that there was a light there until after I had already gone through it. (& you're spoiling my potential law-breaking fun!)
