If I told you this was killing me, would you (would you) stop?

Ask me 3 questions.
Any 3 will do.
I will answer as soon as I check them.
On the spot.

1) Nothing is wrong, really.
2) Yes. We used to rock it out.
3) I've gotten a little quieter, a little older, and a little more mature.

1) Very. Mo can definatly agree with that.
2) It all depends on who you ask. Alot of people say it started in the early and mid 80's with bands like Rites of Spring, Embrace, and to some level, Fugazi. I was basically punk music, but with a totally new vocal pattern. It was much more emotional. It carried on in the northeast for a long fucking time, until the early 90's when bands like Sunny Day Real Estate, Mineral, Braid, Jawbreaker, and The Promise Ring came out with a new kind of sound. It was toned down, but reached deep. Then in the mid to late ninties, bands like The Get Up Kids, The Juliana Theory, Saves The Day, and Jimmy Eat World came out with a poppy version of the genre. For me, the first bands I got into were the last group of bands. My first emo band was The Juliana Theory and The Get Up Kids. Alot, and I mean alot, of kids got into it during the second wave, so alot of those bands are considered the firsts. But honestly, The first emo band was probibly Rites of Spring. I'm not too into them, but they started it all ( ... )

1) Probably The Get Up Kids. If not them, Journey.
2) As soon as you want. I'm not doing much, and I still wanna see The Village.
3) You are adorible, in every way. And you're sweet to me. And you've always been very cool in my eyes. I liked that you would hang out, laugh, sit there, and not have to be doing anything to be cool. You were just you. I used to feel like I had to put on a show to get people to think I was ok, but I know I don't now. I always thought you never had to put on a show for anyone. You're rock and roll.
