This past weekend Mariel and I headed down to VA Beach to go camping... a change from our usual hangout at Assateague.

Here are some photos of my awesome new fixed gear bike. Fuji Valite steel frame tubing (60 cm), Sugino cranks, Mavic rims on Nashbar hubs, Soma cog, 39x15 gearing. I just built it on Sunday, starting with a nice 1980s Fuji Allegro road bike that I picked up cheap last week, off of Craigslist as usual. I built both the wheels myself.

So... I accidentally put my USB Flash drive through the washing machine and dryer. I was pretty worried that it would be dead but, nope, it works just fine. Yet another reason to love Flash drives, I don't think a floppy disk would have ever survived that.
