Photogs?

My brother- in -law is getting married this July and they need a photographer.

This is a second wedding for both of them.  It's a small casual affair.  About 70 folks at the party room of their apartment complex.  Contemporary candid shots mostly.

What would a reasonable budget be?

I've got quite a few excellent photographers on my friends list

I have no idea what the typical rate is but I did a quick google search and rates are anywhere from $500 up. It just depends on what the couple wants. I, personally, don't think I would want to put myself through the pain of dealing with bride and mother of said bride <*shudder*>.

I hear you on not wanting to deal with it. The bride she's cool. The mother of the bride I have yet to meet...

It doesn't matter how cool people are. I would say that my M-I-L is pretty cool *but* she made the wedding photographer cry.
