I tried to give Alex organic whenever possible and within my budget. Sometimes organic produce is only slightly costlier than the commercial produce, then why not? I find that esp. the fruits, it's sweeter and taste much better. However I definitely stop short at expensive items. I buy organic produce here as well! I beg to differ on meat/dairy and eggs though. I think it is more important to eat organic for these items because of all the antibiotics/growth hormones given to the animals which I think is far more toxic than pesticides.

There is Fireflies Health Farm at Kranji that carries quite a range, and you can even fax your order for them to deliver to your place.

oh i buy fireflies stuff from this organic stall in the market near my place. i can even buy in small quantity coz i dun keep stock of organic food stuff.

abt the meat, my hb told me that it's actually unhealthy coz if the animal is sick, they are not treated... i didn't do any research lah. can i pick yr brain on this? :)

I like the organic range and they have dairy free stuff which is great for Riley. The free-range chicken (frozen) that i use to get from cold storage are really tasty. but very small for the price. :p

is riley allergic to dairy stuff? sorry but cant seem to remember.

i bought kampong chicken which essentially free-range chicken from the wet market near my place. the meat definitely taste better.
