Hello my lovely friends and whatnot!
I've not posted for a while, and I have been very bad in getting in contact with any of you recently.
Ian's off to the UAE next Monday, so I'm not really looking forward to that very much.
I started college two weeks ago, it's not going to be too taxing, but I will learn things and get a qualification out of it at the end.
We have a cat! Ian knew I'd wanted a cat for ages, obviously we couldn't get one in the flat, but now we're all settled and have a garden in a quiet village, he thought we could get one. That and he's going away and he thinks it'll keep me company :)
We were going to get one through CPL, we did go to meet one, but I didn't fall in love with her. I found a cat in the paper the next day, and we went to see her and brought her home with us! Unfortunately the people we got her from seem to be evil lying scum, so we couldn't find out if she'd had any injections or anything, so we've just had to go through the whole initial course again, which was a cost we could have done without, but mum's going to pay for it (yay mum), also the CPL covered the full charge of getting her spayed, so that's not something we had to worry about, and I got her microchipped for £20, which I thought was well worth it.
Ian's not very happy now, because I was trying to sort out cat insurance rather than mudding with him, which is fair enough really, as I should have done it last week and we haven't got a lot of time to spend together before he goes, not sure how to make him happy again though.
