The Turkey Story

Yesterday I was driving to work from my home for the first time. The traffic near Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital was nearly stand still, so while sitting I took the opportunity to enjoy the scenery. when i was still in college, I had to spend a month living with my crazy room mate and her family before our apt was available. Her dad kept telling me to watch out for the turkeys on the way to the bus stop in the morning. He's a joker and not quite all there so I thought he was pulling my leg. Damned if the first morning, it's like 5am, and I'm walking to the bus and out of nowhere i hear GOBBLE GOBBLE GOBBLE! WTF! I came up the hill around a bush and there were no less than 4 turkeys standing in someone's front yard.

where do they come from!? my uncle has a place in the poconos and i understand why he has wild turkeys wandering through his yard.... but in yeadon/darby? that just doesn't even make sense!
