Jade grabbed the bowl of fruit and placed it next to the sink. She turned on the faucet and looked over at Moz, who was now standing in the doorway. "Are you sure nobody's at the power plant? I mean it is kind of weird how we haven't lost power......." She shook her head, continuing to wash the fruit and placing it on the counter next to her. " I don't know. Maybe it's just a matter of time before we're all in the dark again." She thought for a moment then spoke again. "Maybe that's something else that needs to be addressed by our city leader."

"It does, and I was thinking about that." Moz leaned against the doorframe. "There needs to be regular meetings of the tribal leaders. We need to keep informed about what's going on, and we need to know if things are really being done to protect the city. What have they done about the Colour Wars, for instance. And if the traders and farmers are being protected when they come into the city. The Militia's grown. So they should be getting more done...not that it seems that way." She muttered under her breath.

"The plants might have enough energy to work for awhile. After all, with the Technos on the out not as much energy could possibly be being used." Riz slid past Moz to take a seat at the table. "The kids probably aren't going to want to work either. Not unless they're offered something in return. I guess they could offer them Ms, like they used to for being part of Lex's deputies."

Jade started cutting up the fruit and placing it back into the bowl. "I guess without the Technos around there must be less power being used. Still, nobody's going to like it much when we're all sitting in the dark, with no running water. I don't know about you guys, but I've kinda gotten used to being able to take a shower." She looked over at Riz then back at Moz. "Most of the kids will work a little, if they get something worth while for it."

Putting the bowl of fruit in the center of their table, she smirked at Riz. "I thought you were sleeping in today."

Riz snorted. "Kay sure is. I didn't wake up so long after you did."

"I'll get her up." Terri grinned. "FOOD'S READY!!" She shouted back toward the main area. "That should do it."

"And announce it to the whole city." Moz couldn't help but comment, leaving the doorway to take the bread loaf over to the table as Terri brought the eggs over. Kay found her way into the kitchen and to the table as Terri set the plates out. "That fruit ready?"
