Moz stood surrounded by a group in the market, people coming and going from it - giving their opinions sometimes before they left. Others just leaving the moment they heard what was said. The idea that some might be the Mallrat's informants crossed her mind, but that couldn't be helped ( Read more... )

After waking up, Jade looked through the knapsack, she had lifted from the guys Ebony had left laying in the woods, for food. She found a an apple and one last bottle of water. Having that for breakfast, she decided it was time to head into the market place to find a buyer for the t-guns she had found ( ... )

One thing about a rally, or a mob as the groups she gathered usually resembled, was that once you had them riled up it took awhile to calm them down. Moz knew most of her morning would be spent doing just that as she slowly talked the crowd into beginning to disperse. Of course, her work still wasn't done then. She didn't want anyone getting it into their head to see Salene before she did. She made her way through the market crowd, trying to keep the still partially together mob calm and send them on their usual daily business. Up ahead she thought she spotted a familiar face, and she paused a moment, debating.

Jade tapped a young man on the shoulder and asked, "What's going on?"

"Moz is gonna go talk to the city leader....find out what's what." The guy said pointing in Moz's direction. "She feels we should have better access to the hospital, and the city leaders office." Jade listened to him while people shouted over her head. Then asked him what he thought about all this. He just shruged his shoulders and walked away.

Jade looked around, not only was she looking out for any sign of Dan but, she was also watching the crowds reaction to what was being said.

It seemed to take a while before people were calm again. As the market place becaome a bit less populated, Jade started to wonder where to start trading for stuff she could use. having more then one T-gun wasn't as important to her as a place to stay and some food.

Moz had spotted Jade among the crowd and as things wound down she threaded her way toward her through the market. It didn't seem like the other girl had seen her coming, but she couldn't be certain as she came up beside her. "Haven't seen you since the fight in the casino." She spoke up, watching her cautiously. "But than I haven't seen much of that loser around either."

Jade turned to look at Moz. The girl's voice had startled her at first. "Huh?.....Oh yeah. I've uh......been on walk-about. He hasn't seen me since that fight either." Jade adjusted the pack on her shoulder then shifted her weight from leg to leg. "Listen, I'm sorry about that night. No one should have to suffer his bullshit. I think he's just pissed coz our tribe's been getting blamed for the 'color' thing."
