Michael Phelps' fans are all excited for the coming Charlotte UltraSwim. As reported by Charlotte Observer, the media attention will be great enough that newspapers from France and England plan to cover the races from Charlotte, as well as reporters from The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today and ESPN.

The media turn out is going to be crazy. And with tickets at $450, this UltraSwim is getting a little unrealistic, don't ya think?

Never is a Grand Prix meet in US that high profile. But anyone willing to pay $450 for this? Probably what we are interested in are the evening finals (not preliminaries)

They don't show up on the actual post. I'm not sure if you can make them appear...I've only used the table function a couple times. Can you widen the table so there's more space between columns?

I tried & failed. I have no problem typing a table on word but just can't manage to handle it here. The table on your post today looks so much better.

Dude, why didn't you post it on MPF? I thought if you write some personal opinion then your own LJ would be a better idea but this is just hard core facts of BB that we should be aware of! Anyway, I hope you don't mind I have promoted this post on MPF for everyone to read... ;)

You can always lock your own LJ for Friends Only if you prefer that way.

You want that poorly typed table on MPF. Oh No. I can see the lines on my inbox but once it is uploaded on LJ, it looks terrible. Thanks. Megan, your table looks so much better.

No problem. It just needed to be widened to make more space. :) Please feel free to post to MPF whenever you feel like. I'd love to have more technical stuff over there. You know, a lot of the members (including myself) have only been around since the Olympics, so we've never seen BB race or compete as a comm. We've only been following Goggle alerts and TV appearances for 9 months. Swimming and competition is a new step for the community...hopefully more people will embrace the technical side of the sport and fully support him 100% at what he does.
