It occurs to me, as I've been floating through the city at random, that I think, for the first time in many moons, I'm actually lonely.

My reaction to this emotion is exactly akin to Spider Jerusalem upon learning that his dreams have become commercial advertisements.

A lot of people are remembering that particular night more and more. Though I doubt I'll go anywhere near that far for a long, long time.

*chuckles* I may be available to hang out, depending on the situation. We'll see how it plays out, but as I'm couchsurfing and looking for work and trying to get out of depression AND poking at this NaNoWriMo bit...well, life happens, and we'll see as we go!

Just say the word. I've got an extra bedroom, filled only with boxes and boxes of books I haven't time to unpack. And not one, but TWO, sofas to choose from. And I'm never home lately. And I would never expect or want payment. It's space just sitting there until I get time to setup an office, which could be a while.

WHY would I do this? Because I can, for once in my life.

But since traders trade (Rand), you could take my dog for walks if you wanted to. (Save my brand new carpet!) The cat likes to come along on walks, but never on a leash, no. I have wi-fi, and peanut butter & jelly.

But I live in la-laland. (Kirkland) And you'd rather wander? Can I let this happen with one of the smartest people I've met since coming to Seattle? Only if you choose it . . .
