"Russian. By language, and by training. Probably former Spetznaz operatives. Those guys are all over the place these days."

"They're cheap and not picky," Parker grumbled, pacing across the room. "Probably contracted out from contacts in Peking. I loathe Peking." She sighed, and raked her fingers through her hair, thinking. "And I doubt there's a leak in our organization, which means someone here leaked the info, knowingly or unknowingly. Angelo?"

He raised his head.

"Look for mention of yourself, while you're at it." She turned back to Triela. "You've already more than earned your paycheck this weekend. So thank you for that."

Triela snorted. "They were sloppy. Unprepared. Anyone could have taken them." Well. Not anyone.

"But you did it without leaving inconvenient bodies, or drawing undue attention, and for once, Angelo's not still traumatized." Parker nodded over at her twin. She checked her watch, and grimaced. "I have to be in the meeting. We're down the hall, and to the left, if something comes up again. Or just hit the phone, and I'll come running if you need back-up."

Triela's taxi arrived not much later. Mostly by dint of her threatening a taxi driver with her gun. And promising him a nice tip when they got there.

Angelo still wasn't really awake, so she had to drag him out of the car. "Tranquilizer," she told Parker before the question could be asked.

"Goddamnit," Parker said, exasperated but not overly upset. "He's a pain in the ass when he wakes up from those." She frowned, helping Triela drag Angelo inside, and carefully arranging him in an office chair in front of a small bank of computers. "I told the client we'd found the mole, and I'd send him the proof from off-site. Did he save everything before you had to rabbit?"

"Yes. And I'm pretty sure he has backups on him."
