Over the last week, Parker had noticed things going missing. Contacts who weren't checking in. Places which apparently weren't receiving information. And now, Jarod, Alex, Kyle, Broots, and Angelo were insisting that there never had been an Eddie who was a member of 7G Enterprises. It had always been 6G

To say Isabel was freaked out was just a bit of an understatement. She and Wyatt had tried to figure out what was going on, but were drawing blanks. In the interest of getting an relatively unbiased opinion, and possibly the opinion of a few super geniuses, she called Parker.

"Pick up. Pick up. Pick up."

"Parker." Parker's voice sounded edgy. "Hey. So. Tell me there's no crisis."

"I wish," Isabel replied, sounding just a little on edge herself. She took a breath because panicking wasn't going to help anything. "What's gong on with you?"

"What's the name of my company?" Parker asked, feeling vaguely hopeless. "Our company, I mean, mine and the guys'."

Who do you call when you have an odd, seemingly-insurmountable problem?

The person you know who's best at fixing problems. Which would be why Parker's phone? Currently ringing.

It was a good thing Parker had already talked to Isabel, or she wouldn't have been very comforting. "Parker. Hey, Ronan."

"So I've had at least two people completely disappear," Ronan said. Who needed any kind of preamble? "To the point where there's not even any evidence of them in the Manual. Thoughts?"

Ronan maybe sounded a liiiittle worried.

"You're not crazy. And you're not alone." Parker grimaced. "Which is about all the comfort I can offer you on this."
