I'm cooking mussels with Brian. Have never cooked mussels before, don't know if I like them..they creep me out a bit..but I'm being brave. Hopefully the white wine will bolster me for gastronomic adventures

the nifty thing that I didn't know is that mussels don't tase much of anthing besides what you cook them in. They are quite benign and harmless realy. A good excuse to eat hot soupy stuff with lots of yum in it that you mop up with bread. And their a little rubbery, but in an appealing way so it's far less an excercise in chewing than it is in swallowing..it's the chewing part that made me hesitant.
