Writing skills and nasty tickets

Note to anyone who thinks they don't need writing skills to get through life (and trust me, I tutor a lot of people who think this)..... right now, in order to contest a speeding ticket I was given about a week ago, I have to write an explanation to the District Attorney of why I should receive a reduction.

Persuasive writing beats going to court!
