I do that on purpose. If I told in advance, people might feel pressured to take action. The real fear is that they won't. This way, I never know if they won't. They feel no pressure. Everybody happy.

I fully understand your reasoning.

I, on the other hand, do tell a select few people as I usually have some sort of small party. Need to start planning that. Do you have any most excellent meatloaf recipes?
