What is this MPREG BigBang all about?
The Big Bang concept is simple. An author writes a story and an artist (vidder/mixer) creates art for said story. This one just has to include male pregnancy.
Writers
Is there a minimum/maximum word count?
The minimum word count is 10,000 words but of course more is always better!
What are the accepted fandoms?
Any and all fandoms will be accepted. Some lend themselves more readily to mpreg than others, but the only limit here is the author's imaginaztion.
What are 'Checkpoints'?
Mostly, they're a nudge for the writer, it gives them shorter goals than the finished project and allows the mods to get a peek at what is being done, helps us get an idea of where everyone is going.
What are the rough draft requirements?
At the rough draft date, authors must turn in their fics as they currently are and should be at least 7,000 words or 80% complete. This is the point where authors need to know they can finish, and the story should be taking it's final shape. Remember that this is where you will be providing your summary for your artist to chose from.
What is, and do I need, a beta?
A beta is essentially a proof reader; someone who reads over your work for spelling/grammatical errors, and with the right beta, they can help you sort out plot problems, character voicing and other sticky point. Even if you don't normally use a beta, you should use one for a challenge like this. You can use your own or there will be a place here at the comm to request one.
Artists
Is there a minimum/maximum requirement for my art?
While we aren't putting limits on the art, we do ask artists to remember that the authors are writing a minimum of 10k. Art can be anything you like including banners, wallpapers, icons, mixes, etc. We also ask that when you are in contact with the author, you work with them to see if there is anything specific they would like (ie/ a wall) The art is your work but having ideas doesn't hurt!

What are 'claims'?
The claims are when anonymous summaries of the fics are put up for artists to choose from. It will be based on a first come, first served basis and artists may choose up to three potential fics (in case their first choice is unavailable). If there are more fics than artists, there will be a second round of claims wherein artists may choose a second fic to work with. In the event that there are more artists than fics, the remaining artists may choose a fic to work with and that fic will have two artists working independently of one another.
Posting
No work (fic or art) is not to be posted anywhere before your posting date. This is to make the final reveal as you post during the posting period all the more exciting.
Author/Artist Problem Or Concerns
We want this to be a fun experience for everyone, so if any conflicts arise while working with your artist/author, please contact the mods so we can try to work things out.
