I think I missed the first checkpoint - sorry, I rely on comm update notifications when I can't watch the flist regularly and I think LJ failed me that time. x_x

What I Like About the Story: It's starting to come together nicely
What I Don’t Like About the Story: There's a large chunk at the end that's still missing >_<
Anything Else: RL work and health keep kicking me to the curb (I have a nice little gash in my palm right now, for instance, from an accident while wrestling with the packaging of a new craft knife, which has slown down my typing for the last few days).

I realize I'm writing for an odd niche in an already small and niche-y fandom. How complete does the draft have to be next week if we're not really expecting any takers on the art side? (I'll be happy to do some art for my self if I have time, but concentrating on getting the second half of the story written first!)

ugh, LJ does that to me all the time!

Copied out from our FAQ: Your rough draft should be at least 8,000 words or 80% done. It should have a clear beginning, middle and end. This way your artist and mixer can have a full story to work with in order to create art. It does not however need to be the completed fic. Just keep writing and I'm sure we can work it out!

Thank you! I might have a few outline notes left at the end of scenes I need to fill in, but I'll keep working at it. Should be able to hit that goal!

What I Don’t Like About the Story: It's becoming a pain to write.
Anything Else: Writer's block is still here and there are times I just want to give up writing, plus real life stuff keeps getting in the way... :/
