Love is complete and utter acceptance. My ex-boyfriend is kind of like you, from what I gather. He thinks love is Prince Charming riding off with the princess into the sunset and live happily ever after in the castle.
But once a person [hypothetically, of course] realizes that it's not like that at all, and every person has flaws, and that sometimes you might even hate the other person. You might want to rip their hair out. But the difference is that in the end, you love them, you accept them, and you want to help them.
Or help yourself.
Whatever works.
Love sucks, and yet it makes you feel so complete. And thus, you can't have completeness without the "good" and the "bad."
