You're right about the movie, but it wasn't Bette Midler's character who said it. It was Claire, played by Glenn Close.

Hee. I loved those little lines in there -- the movie overall was nothing all that great, but some of the dialogue was perfect. :)

Yeah. I dislike this trend, mostly, of remaking movies from the 70s as comedies when they'd work just as well in the same genre they started in.

But the dialogue and set design made this one worth it.
