So, this weekend I've been doing a bit of hacking.

As I mentioned a while back our domestic internet connection is managed by a Linksys WRT54GS running OpenWRT. Now while this has been very successful it's flexibility has been hampered by the somewhat cramped 16MB of mass storage available on this device ( Read more... )

This evening saw me in Edinburgh attending a recruitment session for the Anthony Nolan Trust. It was a fairly straightforward affair - after re-reading the standard information leaflet, filling in a consent form + questionnaire (similar to the blood donation one but with some more detail due to the more intrusive nature of actually making a bone ( Read more... )

We went to see The Feeling at the Carling Academy in Glasgow last night.

The crowd was very mixed, pretty much what I'd expect given the broad appeal of their music.

Had a pretty busy day yesterday. I was up fairly early in the morning so I could get into town to have the rear tyres on my car replaced (When I had the car MOTed a couple of months ago the engineer noted they were getting the legal wear limit, and I don't think it would be especially clever to try and stretch them through a Scottish winter).
