My cat Shiloh was almost 14 when we had to put him down. I dont think I've ever cried so hard in my life. Every day after that, I would come home from school and imagine I would see Shiloh at the door, waiting for me to come in, drop my backpack and pick him up.
But, after March 30th, 2004...... no more Shiloh. But I still felt his spirit, because his scent was still around.
And we have many a picture of him, so it's nice to visit the past sometimes.
I know how you feel. I miss my kitty too. And he was so protective of me. Whenever I was sick or in pain (( via surgery or whatever )), he would sleep with me during the night. Or he'd bat at my toes as they moved under the covers, and it always cheered me up. =)
Maybe Buster will be reborn and you'll find him again. That's what I'm hoping for Shiloh...... I miss him so. ;.;
