I'm glad to hear that you are keeping a postive focus, when we met in michigan (well when we hung out at brian's, i guess we had met before that) i was really impressed by how much brightness and vigor you had. I mean it was almost four am by the time you and i really got talking. Now granted, my interactions were all sort of tinged with hyper-mania due to the fact that i was on really strong steroids for an allergic reaction i had...i need to learn linear thinking one of these days. anyway big chunk of positive feeling should be reaching you from california any moment NOW.

the first time i remember really talking with you (though i knew of you b/c of david's class and the preston/celeste connection) was late late one night at i believe it was brians going away party when he left ann arbor for baltimore. we were sitting on his bed shooting the shit and found out that we each had a live journal. and least that's how i remember our progress to this point.

i believe that by that time i had mellowed a bit from my rather contentious and beligerent days as a stoned and somewhat annoying self apointed radical...that being how i remember myself in david halperin's class.

oh i totally remember now, I brought over some weed and we were all getting high (thats why i couldnt remember), wasnt I blowing fire at that party too??
