Try sporting goods. What particular grain are you looking for?

I doubt they'd have it. I'm looking for something around 300.

You can still find them considering that they are a sport grain. The only way that they would be special purpose is if you are using armor piercers or incendiary rounds and their grain count is not nearly as high. Just because the grain count is high means little to the performance of the bullet.

The opposite holds true. The lower the grain count, the higher the oxygen inside the shell and the faster the bullet travels. Does this make any sense to you?
