ok i think this sydney thing is a good idea. so i did some research into the cheapest way to do it.

- i dunno bout you guys but i dont mind staying in a budget hotel, as long as its in a good location. for example, this one
(it is in the middle of the city and it would work out to be $30 per night each)

i am impressed with your reseaching skills, madame eleanor....

i vouch for flying. because it'll only be an hour and we get to eat the IN FLIGHT MEALS (i love airplane food). and that hotel is pretty cool, 30 bucks per night is very cheap... we could stay for three nights. so that's 240 for the basics plus probably another 200 or 100 for the getting around bit. money well spent for a lifetime of memories!

yes, flying would be much easier and would save lots of time. but i dont think Jetstar has inflight meals!! but i agree, i absolutely love airplane food too.

2 things... nobby is right. on jetstar, you have to buy your own meals... they don't have them freely available to you.

i bought a sandwich on one of their flights once. it was half frozen, but it still tasted really good.

cost 12.50 though...

secondly... generally, from my experience, they don't serve meals on flights to sydney cos they are so short...

i vouch for the train.
as long as the seats are comfortable.
and i have my ipod.

and i'm not stuck next to someone annoying...

and when would we go? i do have a job you know.

by the way, its going to be pretty hard to work out dates for this.
i suggest going on a Monday, because most of us work on weekends - kate, lee, sarah, gemma, jody, me... probably all of us.
so maybe Monday morning to Thursday arvo?
exams finish on the 18th so what about the 21st to the 24th of November?
