Ack, in addition to the previously mentioned auditions, I ALSO just found out that there are auditions for an outdoor musical theatre group in Oakland...THIS WEEKEND. They are doing Oklahoma!, Hello Dolly!, and Jesus Christ Superstar! Darn, it's too bad JCS doesn't have an ! in it's title like the other two...fortunately I can put it at the end of

I dont know that you necessarily need something "halfway between". I'd say just stick with something you know and are really comfortable with and something that really showcases your voice. But try not to go with whatever the male version of "Memories" (Cats) or "On My Own" (Les Mis) is because every damn girl auditioning for UCWC sings those. Everyone knows them...be a little original, if possible. Rent, Ragtime, an older musical or Hollywood movie musical song...something thats a bit unexpected or not done as often.

Napa Valley College is putting on Hello Dolly this weekend (as in yesterday and today) as well as next weekend. Josh and I are going on Friday night, if you're interested. Josh's dad is in it.
