My god my neck hurts. I am so annoyed because I can do fuck all for about the next week except sit around in my house doing jack shit. I may just go stir fry fucking crazy.

Plus I got no morphine, just paracetemol. What a gyp!

Sadly they're not allowed to give you morphine to take home as it's a controlled drug. Last time I had an operation I was raging that I only got paracetamol as well, then in uni I learned that they have this big hierarchy thing where they always start off at the bottom (ie paracetamol) and work up. Or something. Hope the operation was a success!

You can get co-codamol over the counter - paracetamol & codeine. Not hugely better, but that's what they gave me when I broke my collarbone.
