M waited tables at a bar I worked at. I was kinda sorta dating someone, but M and I had a great time together. Lots of laughs over drinks and sushi. We drank in copious quantities. You know, I really wish I could get any remote semblance of pleasure from being on top. For that matter, I've only had one partner who was consistently able to reach orgasm with me on top (it actually felt sort of good for me too). Notably, he was the only one who actually participated by thrusting upward instead of lying there and watching me do all the work. Correlation? Somehow I suspect yes.

I notice that you mention your partners' ability to reach orgasm when you're on top, but not your ability to reach orgasm. Why is that?

That some men last longer, or can't reach orgasm, with the woman on top is one of the benefits of the position. I wouldn't bum too hard on that aspect. It may have even saved some marriages.

If you "really wish you could"....masturbating while you're on top is a good way to pass the time. I certainly enjoy it, and think that most men are with me on that one. Of course, you have to enjoy being watched.

You can also take advantage of the "extra time", worry less about your partner's orgasm, and take some time for yourself.
