And, while I could spend this post talking about the road trip I am currently on, or any one of the many things that have happened since I last posted, I shall instead post what occurred to me while listening to MP3s of the Harry Potter Books.

Harry is an inadvertent hoarcrux. Discuss.

Tim and I like it. The part near the end of book 6 where Dumbledore discusses the snake as a horcrux supports it. It provides a not-too-bs reason for Harry and Voldemort's mystical connection. If Harry becomes un-horcruxed by getting rid of his scar somehow, that's a good reason for the book to end with the word "scar". AND, it will make it a lot easier to wrap up the story in 1 book, rather than a quest for 4 independent horcruxes.

i like it too. But it makes me come to the conclusion that Harry has to die. Of course, I haven't read book 6 in awhile so I need to refresh my memory on hoarcruxes and all.
