Been away, but am I back?

Hiyas,

Things with me have been quite hectic. I've been perpetually close to burnout for the last few months, and I've all but given up on the job (but the job - confusingly - has not given up on me).

Its time to do something about it. Its going to take time though.

Here's hoping I'm up to it.

How is everybody btw? All good?

been meaning to drop you a line but things have been hectic here as well (but good hectic), not least of which was Jeremy's nuptials of which more anon and offline.

so you haven't jumped ship yet? waiting for a year to pass? I have been told that there may be "opportunities" in the offing here but I can't take anything for granted or be complacent so I'll have to hit the books soon

Haven't jumped ship. In fact I'm almost enjoying it. That said, i'm more than open to hearing of, ahem, "opportunities". :)
