[ Chrona was far enough away that she couldn't hear her friend. However, she stopped and sat down in front of a convenience store, sniffling and rubbing her eyes.

She frowned to herself; thinking that maybe she should ask for help to search. The Meister's first instinct was to get in contact with her partner, however--she remembered him stating that he was going out for a walk and his communicator being turned off. And still being a bit hard-headed, Maka refused to have anything to do with him due to their conversation earlier.
