Title: Emerging Together
Author: Chris Etherton

To who do I have the honor of speaking to?
Someone who can talk and talk and talk but not listen through?
It seems that it is a problem for us,
But we can resolve this without a bust.
It just takes a lot of time and patience,
As we work together in our fortitude of false complacence.

Life gives impressions upon us all,
Except it appears to fault and shove us into walls.
We can only break these walls together,
Emerging from fierce and stormy weather.
We can only break these walls together,
Emerging from fierce and stormy weather.

Violent are the waves of self-righteousness,
As we try to calm them with our new-found peacefulness.
Though society has become a cruel and aggressive being,
It has become this way by persons pulling the string.
Bureaucracy of a free market system doesn’t work for us,
As it only provides for welfare, destitute and dust.

Life gives impressions upon us all,
Except it appears to fault and shove us into walls.
We can only break these walls together,
Emerging from fierce and stormy weather.
We can only break these walls together,
Emerging from fierce and stormy weather.

We can take the steps in the right direction,
If we could only learn from our desperation.
Taking on everyone and everything,
We can not expect to discover and bring.
Breaking away from our capitalistic-economic spells,
May bring us back to our humanoid selves.

Life gives impressions upon us all,
Except it appears to fault and shove us into walls.
We can only break these walls together,
Emerging from fierce and stormy weather.
We can only break these walls together,
Emerging from fierce and stormy weather.
