Hi

I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a long -time "Maurice" fan, that just recently stumbled over this community. Last time I looked for "Maurice" fan fiction - what was it? 6 years ago? I found close to nothing, so I resigned myself. I'm glad to learn that there are other people about who love "Maurice" (even if this place looks a little quiet ( Read more... )

Oh! Oh! *waves* Me! I'd like to download the book! I have it in paperback, but an ebook copy would be much more convenient. sweetfallacy @ gmail dot com

Also, welcome! I have a special soft spot for this fandom and so I'm always happy to have yet another person to share it with. And we can always use more writers around here.

Thank you! I've loved "Maurice" for so many years, and my recent re-discovery of Forster as a great author hasn't exactly dampened my spirit, so I think you can count on me to stay around :) I've always wanted to obsess about "Maurice" with someone but never really had the opportunity.

PS: Book sent and I forgot to mention - it's RTF but you can always convert it with the ebook library application 'Calibre' if you need it a real ebook format. I'm going to create a proper ebook in .mobi and .epub formats, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Obsess away! If you look through the archive, you might have some fun reading through the book discussions we had here. If you do, please comment with your thoughts. Or just make another post with a topic you'd like to discuss and we can do it all over again.

And thank you for the email.

Already had a look at the archives - but not the book discussions. May have a look there, though. Thanks for the suggestion :)

That's good of you to do this. I'd love to have a copy. storyfan1 at gmail dot com.

I've read some quite lovely fanfiction for these two, but have never written any myself. Someday I'd like to do that.

I've got a copy in paperback on order at my local bookstore.

I've read it, but it was a library book. My kids also want to read it, so I decided a hard copy would be great for our home library.

When I had scanned my old paperback copy, I gave it away to an American friend who need some cheering up. Then I felt it was missing in my bookcase and bought a new version - a used version of the Folio Society edition - I can't resist a good book in any definition, I'm afraid *G* Would still prefer to read it on my Kindle though. So much more convenient. And then I can throw my book case a glance when I read it.
