As listed here, there are two computers going to a good home if anyone wants them. A ZX spectrum +2 with eleventy billion games, and an iMac DV SE 400 in graphite. Offers accepted, but really, I'll just take them to the dump if no-one's interested ( Read more... )

If you're taking things to the dump, you could always try freecycle first? You can make people show up to collect which minimises hassle.

Oh, getting it to the dump wouldn't be a hassle (it's about 1km up the road, and will be going with loads of defunct electronica for recycling anyway), but shall explore Freecycle, as I have been meaning to for a while. :)

I knew there was something I was meaning to do on Monday- there are a few people around here who're worryingly fond of retro tech so I've shoved a note on our internal forums to see if anyone wants the speccy.

I'm 99% sure that you could find a home for the Walthers if you bring them with you this weekend. I'm sure Mr Landmine would be able to give the M16 a good home.

I'd love the Speccy and games, but don't think I can get to N12 any time soon.... having said that, edwards and I will be in London on Saturday, but not sure which area we'll be in.

Can you please hold 'em for me whilst I check with Himself to see if we can collect them? :D :D

Well, nominally it's your insofar as no-one else has claimed it yet; however, the recipient is the first person who can pick it up before March 8th!

Also, I shall not be in London myself on Saturday, so that bit is moot.
