I purchasd a 48X CD-ROM for my sister-in-laws PC that i'm building for them off of eBay. I won the auction and paid about a minute later on July 19th. Seeing that that was last week and i haven't gotten an email even for confirmation i decided to email this person. I simply asked when the item was shipped and when i could expect it. Well that's sucktastic.

Wouldn't it have been easier to just buy a new CD-ROM? They are cheap enougn.

Not really. Surprisingly CD-ROMS in the local retail stores charge as much as $40 for a brand name. Cheap name is like $20-25. I got this for $8.98. Best price for used elsewhere was about $15 before shipping. This ended at 3:30am hence the reason i got it so cheap.

Ok, $8.98 is better than the $25 or so I'd get one for. I've never used ebay, I don't trust other people enough.

The best I can suggestive is to give him a bad satisfaction rating. While he has your money and your drive, you're pretty much at his mercy.
