the gas pedal gets stuck and here i go doing 75 down a residential road because i can't get the truck to stop. I have to jam on the brakes to get it to slow down all while smoke is coming from the front drivers side tire.

I have to admit to laughing out loud at this.

Haha! I'm glad my near death experience is at least entertaining. For the record, it's not driving like it did when i left AAMCO, it's back to the way it was...sigh. What a pain in the ass.

Is it still lacking power? Does it knock? Is it using coolant again? If so I'm thinking that something is still not right with the intake manifold or manifold gasket. Stuck throtle could have been the carpeting, or they screwed something up when they fixed it because they would be needing to take the throttle body and stuff off when they went to fix the intake manifold.

Then again, I'm not a mechanic.

I'm sure they didn't do any of that because it would have been to much work. I've taken it back twice and both times "there's nothing wrong with it" is all i get.
