Turns out that the owl (or should I say, vulture) that my brother sent me was announcing a surprise visit to England. Oh joy of joys. I've only just got rid of the sod! And he's definitely still keeping something quiet. Hmm, I'm rather suspicious.

I didn't mean that literally, Luna. Sod, as in, a nickname for someone who is an annoying git.

No, well, I suppose that might be where the word comes from, but I don't think anyone uses the word that way now.
