No, I wouldn't.

But then that is so often true....

You have broken the covenant of the Underworlders and as such, we will have your thumbs!

Don't worry, it's not interesting. The phrase comes from a certain poster, I think there is only one on the whole network (I can't remember which station). It's been there for years and had become one of those little landmarks in my life, for some reason it amuses me and a few friends, I was just curious to see if it had burned itself into any body else's brain or if we are just weird.

ahh, ok... guess it would depend on what tube line one is traveling if they have seen this one mysterious poster, perhaps it is a welcome to secret sect or something deliciously mysterious. *cheeky grin*

Thanks for the explanation, of sorts. *L*

The poster is for the 'London Tabernacle' apparently and it features loads of bad 70s-ish artwork and a guy who looks like a black J. Edger Hoover. It's just cartoons of people saying why they don't go to church. Black Hoover (for that's what we call him) is saying that he's not a church-goer because it's all "Supertitious cermonial etc". It makes us laugh for reasons we can't explain.

I'll ask my mate which station it's at.
