Work tonight sucked major ass for the first two hours.  It was wicked windy and rainy and generally shitty.  Thankfully Alex sent me a text message that cheered me up, and she came and brought me hot chocolate after my break.  She kept me sane, and for that I thank her.

The reason why that quote sounds so horrible is because it is taken out of context. Had it been introduced in context, there would be a perfectly good reason for me to say such a thing.

Here's the context: We were talking about how to properly raise a child. Everything we came up with involved some form of verbal or physical abuse. If anyone was offended, we weren't being serious. At least I wasn't.
