That's just beautiful Jeremy..I don't know who you wrote this about nor does it matter. The first 5 lines just hit me like a ton of bricks especially w/ Valentine's Day being just a couple days away. I never thought I'd still be apart from the love of my life so I know what it's like no matter what you do all your thoughts seem to be centered on that person. So on one hand thanks for just depressing the heck outta me but thanks for reminding me just what I do have also.

I have to be honest, I always wanted to write something that brought both depression and happiness. I always wanted it to be my best song. But if a poem is what does it and brings that out of you I think I'm close to what I would like to have under my belt. So I'm sorry that I brought the depressing feeling to you but I'm glad I reminded you of what you have.
