Today I went to Starbucks with my mom and grandma. It was ok. My grandma gave me a this cool rasta type beenie that my cousin made for me. Somewhere in the theory of evolution, there is a statement that explains that it is proven to be fact, that time is nothing but a count of something, thats aging. A count which can be reverted into days & months & years, or just as you said...moving forward in time. You see, this is called the concept of natural progression. Time moves forward, not backwards. All Time eliminates this backward thinking and moves time forward, instead. The years advance as people grow older, and this follows the natural progression. No one who told you they were born fifty years ago would imagine that you might think they were now zero years old. The "years ago" statement is meant to be interpreted as moving both ways - you were born fifty years ago and you are fifty years old. The years ago system actually wants you to believe that the universe began 13.7 billion years ago and that it is now zero. This is counter-intuitive. (Sorry I jump around a lot...when i start using examples, I tend to get carried away ( ... )
