I turned 30?

For those of you just tuning in, your favourite Electric Bastard had a little birthday this past weekend. On Saturday, August the 19th I turned 30. I know…big one, right? Double-digits. So, I went back and looked at last year's birthday rant (the Disney World one, not the Jen Daicy one) and it was good. But now I have to ask myself where I've ( Read more... )

"Now go out there and cause some mayhem."

I'll do that! I think I'll even take it to another country! But... is it even possible to cause mayhem in Amsterdam?

Yes. Amsterdam is an easy plaec to cause mayhem. Especially with the availability of whores and psycotropic drugs.

I was thinking Amsterdam is mayhem incarnate already!

it leads to a bit of a chicken/egg question. Is it easier to cause mayhem or is there so much mayhem that it's iimpossible to create any more. My way of thinking is that ANYBODY can cause mayhem ANYWHERE...whether or not anybody else is generous enough to notice you doing it is another question altogether.

Congratulations for making it to 3 decades.

Now you just have to plant the explosives and get the fuck off the East Coast for a while.

Like I said on the phone - feel any different? 30, that is. (21 is tragically not so different from 20 since I could legally drink in Japan for the whole year.)

sorry I've been kind of busy this week, but I'll let you know when I'm back down in Williamsburg.

What did you end up doing for your birthday?

I'm afraid the answer to the 'feel any different' question is longer than you probably want to read...and possibly a rant in and of itself...which i'm working on right now.

Don't be sorry at all for being busy, darlin'. I know how moving back to college is putting a strain on your time, i just hope everything is going well there and you have fun moving into the new J-house. i hope i get a chance to visit soon and see what they've done with the place.

Heh...pirate party. It was going to be a quiet little cookout with some friends at my parents' house, but my brother and his girlfriend did it up in Pirates of the Carribean decorations and balloons like it was a party for a six year old...which was awesome. Everybody had cardboard eyepatches and little hats and everything. TOTALLY awesome.

I'm so sorry I didn't make a bigger fuss!

Anyways, I KNOW you had a good one and I hope you'll continue to have lots and lots more.

You're not far off a third of a century now, you know. :P

Thank you, love, cheers. And what part are you talking about making a bigger fuss over?

I shall continue to have quite a few more, luck provided, and hopefully we can even enjoy your company for one of them someday...assuming you ever feel brave enough to travel to the Big Scary Colonies.
