So, when I was driving to work this morning, they had already announced that Bush was going to make a speech at 1 this afternoon reagarding the overwhelming landslide of seats that shifted last night in favour of the 'Rats. I liked how he stopped short of calling the American people stupid. He said something like "I thought the American people would understand how important security and ___ are but..."

And then he stopped himself and switched gears.

This may have been the defining moment where the W's prideful and sin-laden self-assessment of his own divine ordination will come crashing down. But it takes time for the gears to turn.

This may knock that fucking murderer off his high horse and help him realize that there ARE other people in the world, and those people DO stand to hold opinions other than his. It is not the job of the nation to agree with every word that erupts from his distended gob, and it is in fact the solemn DUTY of every American patriot to feed the tree that is this nation with the sweat and blood of its own revolutionaries.

I woke up this morning after a fitful sleep (full of phlegm and hocking loogies) to find that my foul "DIE IN A FIRE" mood yesterday allowed me to be hopeful and optimistic about the results of the election ( ... )

Nothing about it more screams that it IS an oligarchy. Archons appointed rather than representative of the broader population, but directly representative of a small elite class. We've utterly achieved it ( ... )
