haha, I've never commented on the stories.. but I would like to say your gibberishly made up words border on as much fluidity with the Jabberwocky poem that it's nearly impossible to tell what you made up and what you didn't... given you do have to make up some words because of the alternate setting..
In a shocking twist, I make up only a small handful of words...or borrow other people's made up phoney-baloney words for my own. Most of it tends to come from the news story I'm basing the piece on...though some news stories become more perverted than others.
In this case: Mor'Eck = America...the W pronunciation, "Amurrica" Grindylow = mythological monster/demon/beastie/thing. Read China Mieville's The ScarSarbox = the Sarbanes Oxley Act, aka the Public Company Accounting Reform and Investor Protection Act of 2002. When I heard the nickname Sarbox, I immediately added "the destroyer" to the end of it. Because I am a sick, sick puppy
( ... )
Well, then we'll have to introduce some kind of Metaphysical IT Department...the MIT...no, that's taken. Maybe the Department Appropriating Matters of Metaphysical Information Technology.
