Random thought

I was working when I looked out my office window to see all the leaves falling. Then I noticed off in the distance gardeners putting them into a pile. I wonder if they would mind if I went and jumped head first into it. Perhaps this would amuse them?

I miss playing in Fall leaves. The playing in them, and then the smell of them burning in the crisp cold air at night. People around here don't burn them, but they did when I lived in IL.

The trees here now are amazing shades of yellow, gold, orange and red.

Walking home from work this evening, I actually had to stop and just stare at a tree as it glowed red ethereally under a sodium light.
